How coins are spent
Coins are spent only on completed translations — nothing is deducted for uploading, previewing or downloading. Letters, digits, symbols and spaces each count as one character. Billing is per 1,000 characters.

Buying coins is a separate, fixed rate: US$1 = 10 coins, whatever the pack (e.g. the $17 Standard pack adds 170 coins) — the price of coins never depends on which language you translate. During the promotion, 30% fewer coins are deducted automatically at translation time; pack prices are unchanged.

Payment & billing FAQ
Is this a subscription?
No. Every coin pack is a one-time purchase. There is no monthly charge and nothing is automatically renewed.
How is a character counted?
Every letter, digit, punctuation mark and space counts as one character. Only translated text is deducted from your coin balance — graphics, dimensions and layers are not.
Do coins expire?
No. Coins remain on your account and can be used whenever you need them.
Do I get anything when I sign up?
Yes. New accounts receive 220 translation coins immediately after registration is completed - about 11,000 characters in the 9 most-used languages. No purchase is required to claim them.
Is there a discount at the moment?
Yes. A 30% launch promotion is running until March 31, 2027: you spend 30% fewer coins on every translation. It is applied automatically in your account when you translate — no coupon is needed, and the checkout window is unaffected.
Which payment methods can I use?
Card payments are accepted worldwide, together with the local payment methods available in your country at checkout. All payments are processed securely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
Who processes the payment and handles tax?
Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, which means Paddle is the legal seller for your purchase and handles applicable VAT, GST and sales tax, as well as the invoice. Your bank statement will show a Paddle charge.
Can I get an invoice for my company?
Yes. A PDF invoice is issued for every purchase and can be downloaded from the receipt e-mail. If your procurement department needs anything else, contact us.
What if the translation does not meet my expectations?
Re-translate the same file with a different engine first — if the problem is still not resolved, please see our Refund Policy. Unused coins can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
Is my drawing kept private?
Files are transferred over TLS, are used only to produce your translation, and are not used to train any AI model. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on retention and deletion.
